Beyond the Banner: Highlighting iACADEMY’s Junior Software Developers Organization

iJSD-SHS is the official software development organization of iACADEMY Senior High School. Established to support SHS students taking the Software Development strand, iJSD provides a platform where members can practice coding, sharpen their skills, and connect with others who share the same interest in technology.
The organization is best known for hosting major activities such as the IT Quiz Bee and Byte Week, which challenge students to apply their knowledge in fun and competitive settings. They also organize seminars and workshops on programming languages like Python and C#, ensuring members gain exposure to practical applications beyond the classroom.

More than just technical training, iJSD emphasizes collaboration. Students work together on projects, share coding practices, and develop problem-solving skills essential for future careers in tech. This environment allows beginners and advanced programmers alike to learn side by side and grow together.
iJSD’s mission is clear: to help SHS students become more exposed to the world of software development and prepare them for the demands of higher education and the industry. By fostering a culture of learning and innovation, iJSD-SHS continues to play an important role in shaping the next generation of iACADEMY developers.
